High Tea at the InterContinental Hong Kong
Greetings from Hong Kong. As undisciplined as I am, some things do warrant my blogging. The InterContinental, located right on the harbour with a grand view of the Hong Kong skyline, is easily one of my favorite hotels in the world.

The savories. Now, I never was a big fan of English tea sandwiches (I still have nightmares of some abysmal cucumber cream cheese sandwiches in an English tea party in high school), but these were excellent. The sandwiches came in three different varieties: chicken, cucumber, and egg. The chicken was my favorite of the trio. Intensely flavorful and tender, the chicken came on soft, moist bread with a dollop of InterContinental's light mayonnaise-based spread. The egg and cucumber weren't bad either.
